Douglass Learning Academy

Please join us as we welcome Mr. Castain Alfred, III, to the Douglass Learning Academy team. Mr. Alfred joins us as the Site Coordinator for the Communities in Schools of East Texas. Mr. Alfred will facilitate the "Leader in Me" program which offers our students additional support and resources in areas of academic readiness and tutoring, college and career readiness, social services, self-confidence, and other individual student needs. Principal Agnew shared, "This partnership with Communities in School will provide another layer of support for our students and help us continue building pathways to graduation and a successful life beyond high school."
